Brief description of levels:
Comp 1: Players that currently play or have played at the college level. Players/teams have consistent serving, accurate passing, advanced technical skills, complex offensive systems and specialized defensive strategies.
Comp 2A: Similar to Comp 1, perhaps not all players played at college level, but still high level of play.
Comp 2B: Reliable serving and passing, adequate offensive systems and defensive strategies, good understanding of game. Teams/players likely play some form of organized volleyball.
Rec A: Basic understanding of game, may run basic offensive systems and defensive strategies. Serving and passing not always consistent.
Rec B: Serving and passing is not consistent, basic understanding of the game. Focus is on getting the ball over and on having fun.
